Doggie Sleepovers
Huggybug Pet Service is excited to now offer an alternative to traditional boarding of your dog in a kennel. Our pet hosts are all pet friendly people who are required to stay at home while watching your pets and have secure pet friendly homes and yards. Most have dogs of their own, so your dog or dogs will have someone to play with.
No concrete dog runs, unattended for hours, wondering why their owners put them there! A private home with personal attention is a good alternative for any dog; in a quiet home setting your shy dog can adjust at his or her own pace, for a dog who needs human companionship it can make the difference between an experience that he dreads and one that he looks forward to.
After a telephone interview with a pet host, we will schedule a visit for you and your pet with the pet host. In this initial consultation we will fill out any forms needed, you and your pet meet the host ,tour their home, and you may also need to schedule a time for you to leave your dog there for a Meet & Greet (a minimum of 3 hours) so that the pet host can determine compatability with their household.
Bring your pet's bed if you'd like, his favorite toy, and his food. We will provide the love, cuddles and play-time to help make his "sleepover" an enjoyable one!
Your pet will need:
*If pet host is unsure of temperment a Meet & Greet may be necessary
*Have all shots current, including rabies, distemper, bordatella (kennel cough)
*Puppies must have completed the parvo vaccinations and have first rabies shot
*Must be in good health
*Pets must not have fleas, ticks or other infestations
*Must come with collar, tags and a leash
*Overnight guests must be fully housebroken
*Owners must provide pets food to avoid digestive problems associated
with diet changes

24 hours a day
Meet & Greet (minimum 3 hours)$10 any size dog
Small/Medium dogs (2-50 lbs.) $33 a day
Large dogs (51-99 lbs.) $38 a day
Giant dogs (100+ lbs.) $43 a day
2 small/Medium from same family $50 a day
2 Large dogs from same family $57 a day
2 Giant dogs $65 a day
Unfixed males an extra charge of $10 per day
